Well, you know what they say, wearing black is slimming... wearing white... No, I had the same reaction, he looks bigger in the white. But, note that he did have the accident, he purposely wore a short sleeve shirt and he wore the protective stuff. I think when he was hurt, he probably did not work out all that much except for the games, too. He will gain the weight over the season based upon prior seasons. I personally don't think 320 is his best weight. Under 300 looked good at the beginning of the season.
Doesn't anyone else think it's the tiniest bit strange that we're talking about a basketball player's ideal weight as being at or above 300 pounds?
I saw a picture recently (can't remember where) with before and after pictures of Baby. In the after picture, he was wearing his "fat" shorts to show the lost waistline. Based upon that picture he lost a significant amount of weight.
that's been a fav' of all of the media. the before and after shot, at the end of last season vs. the beginning of the season (saw it during the Texas, UConn, Washington, and 'Bama games  ). He did lose alot of weight, and I do believe reports that he lost close to 50 pounds. The problem is it's hard for anyone to keep that kind of weight off (hence, reports of Big Baby celebrating after the UConn game, going to restaurants for late night meals, etc.). I've got to think that he's keenly aware of his draft status, and will do his best to keep the weight manageable this year...
