as predicted at 18:31 I figured Big Syl would dominate these honkies.

she only averaged about 20 mins a game last year so shes virtually a unknown compared to what shes gonna do this year. go ahead and give us the hardware. Can pokey coach football and baseball also?

    40 minutes
    career high 25 pts
    16 boards
    4 blocks
    4 steals

    only 3 turnovers

thanks for playing luckeyes. 16 point win was deceiving. it was more like 36.

Look for the LSU women to go undefeated in the regular season with a max of one loss. possibly one in the SEC trny just so they run wild in the dance.

look out bobby knight and the '76 hoosiers. first the '72 dolphins now you.

The girls will do quite well this season. Seimone Augustus & Sylvia Fowles are the best tandem that LSU woman basketball ever have.

For those of you who scoff at women's BBall, i would like to ask a question. Have you ever been on the court with one of these girls? I played against some TTU girls several years ago, and yes, MJ might have been better, but these girls can school about 90% of the guys out there. If you play below the rim like I do, these girls can teach you a thing or two.

Nobody scoffing at them here... Unless you are referring to my comment about trying to stay interested. I say that because their games are almost always a blowout.

Yep, good one. But Tirk is right. She's the best coach we have right now.

The comment was directed to those who might be reading the thread that don't take time to appreciate the game, not at any particular statement. I have played sports against D-1 and Professional Men and Women athletes, (I was a decent Jr. High Linebacker), and will admit that being humiliated gave me an acute appreciation of their abilities, both male and female.
