They both agreed that maybe it shouldn't be stated, but Saints DC comments about hitting Manning were what every defense wants to do to every opposing QB. Brister specifically said that any QB getting hit has it in the back of their mind any time they have the ball, and could make that one mistake to lose a game. Kinda like Favre interception against Saints.
