The conferences are set for the next 10 years or so. Only the Big East has the TV deal left to negotiate so that's why they are the only ones looking at expansion now. Adding teams to the SEC would only take away money from those that are already there. That's why the Big 12 has no interest in expanding, more money for the 10 that are there now.
I voted North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Florida State, and aTm. I want to see the SEC get so big it can secede from the NCAA...sign a new and bigger TV deal...have their own Southern Championship following a league tournament using the Bowls...and pay the players with money we get from the NFL for being their farm system !!! The NCAA has no credibility anymore and can shove it. Is that enough for you all to chew on? There's THREE MONTHS before kickoff so I thought I'd provoke lots of arguments in just one thread....bash away !!! :yelwink2: (By the way, we should all be watching SEC boxing and beach volleyball double headers on TV right now...instead of reading endless Memorial Day and smoking threads. )

Another silly poll? Really? Wow. The lil-10 can expand to 20 teams, it won't matter. The SEC will still get their share of the tv contracts, high profile recruits, etc. They're not going to change what's won the last 5 BCSNCG's, and why would they? To keep up with the Jones's? Doubt it.
They can add all the teams they want, they will never be the SEC. The only thing the SEC needs to do about a conference adding Maryland and GT is laugh.:thumb:
