And don't forget that Cleo was photographed stuffing an envelope full of money into his pocket in Fast Eddie's office, but nothing ever came of that footage. I guess Cleo distributed a portion to the right people to avoid the heat. Maybe Dollar Bill should have consulted with Cleo prior to accepting the marked bills for his "services."
Jefferson also did a good media blitz against Carter by exposing her voting record: notoriously pro-choice and pro-gay marriage. There goes the black AND conservative white vote. Like someone said earlier, you can attribute this vote to pure cynicism. The people who elected them may be waiting to get him out.

No. What I said was that they were probably both guilty as hell. What I most likely said is that Jefferson shouldn't lose his committee seats until he is indctied similar to Delay.
