Yup, my bracket is just gone to hell. I also took ULL. For a while it looked like it may happen. But, the better team pulled away down the stretch.

Well, I wonder if we could just hire Illinois' coach...It's obvious that both Brady & Self can recruit...and we know Brady can't do jack save for underachieve and hope the last two months of each and every season wipe away the sh!tty memory of the year past in total...

Eight years of underachievement, save for one year, and a two month stretch are enough to blind the Brady Butt Munch Lunch Munch to the truth...The man isn't the answer.

Any way you slice, we have two wins in the NCAA Tournament in 8 years, and both came in the same year...We're one & done in every other instance...Hell, we were one & done in the NIT last year, LOL!

We're two and BBQ in baseball and people want to moan...But we just MAKE IT TO THE TOURNEY in Hoops, and this guy is sipping ambrosia in the P-MAC and tossing thunderbolts down to the huddled scared masses of Brady fans...

TE if you do not even care enough about LSU basketball to even watch a single minute of their NCAA tourney game, then why do you even pretend to care and ramble in basketball threads?

To use your favorite quote when you can't muster adequate arguments, "**** OFF!"

I wanted to watch the game, but I had also agreed to let my girlfriend cook dinner for me...So when the digital cable box went on the blink (especially annoying since her mother works for Cox), there's not much I can do about that, then, is there?

I'm sure you would have immediately ditched your date while dressed up in your trekkie uniform at the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine convention to do so, but some of us here in the real world aren't so callous and stupendously thoughtless to just start trying to tune in a basketball game over the radio while eating a meal that your girlfriend cooked for you to celebrate St. Patrick's Day...

Nevermind my last name is O'Neal, and I'm freaking IRISH, nimrod...

    Turn SciFi back on...

You know I've always given you credit for sticking to your opinion. However, when you mentioned you did not watch a single minute of the game because of <no matter what excuse you insert here it doesn't make a difference>, what little credibility you had with your opinions about LSU basketball went spiraling down the drain -- much like your post above did.

So why make posts about LSU basketball pretending like you care? That is a simple and fair question.

By the way, you realize that I do indeed injoy science fiction shows and make no effort at all to avoid having people know it? I've even called myself a geek and a nerd on occasion on this very forum. Because I am one! :D

By the way, my date was sitting right next to me watching the game.

... and I don't wanna turn Sci-Fi on right now.... ESPNEWS is on. :(

I guess that credit ends the MINUTE I disagree with your precious opinions regarding basketball, eh? All of the sudden, I'm giving out "excuses" that "don't matter" and now you're convinced that I'm "pretending" to care...and now I need to be questioned on my very posting habits?

Sounds more like you-like the rest of the Brady BBMLB'ers out there who are done with the butt munch buffet from the past two months-are trying WAY too hard to attempt to marginalize my opinions...

Just as you don't care if you're called nerd, but you want to let me know, I don't care if you think my opinions aren't valid, but I am going to tell you about it...

All in all, I have given you credit for-if nothing else-being a poster who tends to think things out and use a pragmatic approach to situations.

But now, if a tornado would have destroyed my block, and I was unable to watch the game on TV, according to your up to this point sound logic, I'm "pretending" to care and my credibility is shot?

    Get a life, fool...

I see this has touched a nerve. You show a lot of passion in your posts about LSU basketball. Yet, when it comes to seeing the actual game, you fidget around with a cable box and simply do not worry about it? "The heck with it, I'm irish and it's Saint Patty's day, time to eat! I can come bash the coach later on regardless!" :)

You know that WAFB is a local channel right and you could have watched this game without cable? No.... LSU basketball is only important to you when it comes to you feeling a need to type out paragraphs of condescending remarks about its coach.

No, a girl that I'm interested in means more to me than a basketball game, and I don't care who's playing...She took the time to invite me, and also went out of her way to do so...Things she didn't have to do...

How the hell am I supposed to figure out how to get a damn HD TV that's not mine which isn't working for the cable box to start tuning in a signal for the hoops game? Much less, how am I to watch it from the dining room?

Again, you feel as if you're doing yourself or the board some good, but in reality, you're making yourself look like a fool...To say I'd marginalize someone I care about in order to type out informed opinions here on this site is delusional...To denigrate her feelings while feeding my id and watching an LSU Basketball game is just not something that's right, in my mind.

I'm sorry you disagree, and feel like I must watch every game humanly possible, no matter what happens or what goes on in my life outside of this site or LSU sports, in order to have an opinion on the subject as a whole...

I'm also sorry you're stupid...I wish there were more I could do for you...

Please...Don't "touch" my nerve...Nor anything else on me, for that matter, anymore...I can't take it...

(Acting petulant and as if you've really struck a chord)....LOL!

It is difficult to make myself look like a fool when one is posting paragraph after paragraph of foolish information between my posts. I am trying though but you are outdoing me. You're too good at it!

    Lets recap:

    I am a nimrod.
    I am a fool.
    I am stupid.

No need to mockingly act as if I struck a nerve. Obviously I have.

Anything else you would like to say?
