  2. Thanks, this game followed a familiar and somewhat disturbing pattern. Start off looking like crap, get behind, rally to tie or go ahead by half and then slowly pull away. It's getting frustrating. They don't seem to open the playbook until we get behind. We're 10-1 but haven't really played a complete game. We lost our best receiver and only deep threat to a blown ACL in this game. The injuries are really starting to pile up.

Congrats to UL Lafayette as the Ragin Cajun's also clinched the west with a drubbing of Troy. The rematch everyone wanted is on. Only question left is location. If we beat Troy next Saturday, it's a home game for us. We lose, we go to Lafayette for the second time this year. They have a fine team and are run centered. We have trouble with the run and were fortunate to win last time out. It should be a good game. I believe their O Line is bigger than the Tigers line.
Winner to NOLA Bowl. Loser probably to one of the two Alabama bowls or Cure bowl in Orlando.
App State moved up one spot in the AP poll this week to No.22; remained No. 22 in the coaches poll.

  4. App State plays at Troy tomorrow (Friday night) at 6pm ESPN+. Win and we have a home game against ULL for the Sun Belt Championship. Lose and we play in Lafayette. Ragin Cajun faithful have already made their reservations in Boone. Hope the don't need to cancel them.

  8. Good game yesterday. I worked in Morganton with a guy that played baseball at App. State. It was some time ago.
