1. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

Scott spoke with Hester and Addai. Black spoke with Dorsey.
  2. :geaux: Great news that both are coming back.:) Big boost for the offense going in to '09. :LSU231:
  3. LaFell is a big loss though, it's never a good thing when we lose our #1 wideout.

  4. Without LaFell, Tolliver will be the go-to WR, and that ain't a bad thing at all. If we get Randle he can make an immediate impact. If Bama and UGA can get the job done offensively with frosh WRs, there's no reason LSU can't.
  5. It is very interesting that Black would stay with a late first round draft pick looming. And for a left tackle, that means even more money (highest paid position on the O-line).

He was the key to this offense having some continuity going into '09.

    It's a relief.
  6. You can partly credit his mother for that. Apparently she's really big on him finishing school. And he does really well from what I hear too, so definitely not a struggle from him to hammer out another year.

Nonetheless, it is a wonderful thing to have him and Scott back.

Seems like they spoke with the RIGHT guys!;)

I hate to see Lafell go. Wonder how much of a positive effect it will have on RR's recruitment. The "vaccuum" should be a bit favorable.

  8. Not surprised at all. You don't even have to meet his parents to know they are high quality people.

I still remember the heart warming story of the kid in the hospital that Black befriended.
  9. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

I think this probably all but sealed the deal with RR. I think RR will certainly be a Tiger.
  10. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

Don't count out Debose just yet.

Harvin appears to be staying or at least leaning that way.

All of a sudden what appears to be an open invitation to play early looks to be in LSU's favor just as much if not more than Florida's.

Shepard is still telling people Debose will sign his LOI with LSU.

    We shall see.
