Of course, all blacks are racist and whites are pure and good. You guys are ridiculous. I know racism exists, becuase I have encountered it. Numerous times. But I'm sure when I was told "go back to Africa" and considered it racism, I was just pulling the race card. SMH
So there is a difference between white people being racist toward black people, and black people being racist against white people ? Its all racism.
I'm sorry? Who said that racism didn't exsist both ways? I think the incidents of white racism toward blacks has been very well documented. It's a lot less documented and PC to mention reverse racism, yet it happens all the time.
The racism issue is ugly whichever way it goes. Look at recent events in basketball. Temple coach Cheney sends in a goon to rough up the other teams palyers. He fouls out after five minutes and leaves an opposing player with a broken arm. Duke Coach K sends in a goon for essentially the same purpose. The media is all over Temple calling for Cheney to be fired yet virtually ignores the Duke incident with Coach K. I'm not saying this is racism but one could sure view it that way.
I hadn't heard about the incident involving Coach K, probably because people are making a huge deal about Cheney's incident. My guess is that it has more to do with it being almight Duke and almighty Coach K than it has to do with a race issue. It might also be because Cheney came right out and admitted it, I don't guess that Coack K has done the same.
It was about a week ago. it was a small piece in my local paper. It wasn't as flagrant as the Temple incident in terms of results but Coach K readily admitted sending in a rarely plyed guy just to commit a few "rough" focus. I can't remember wo Duke was playing. There is a brief commentary on this situation in today's Birmingham News.
