Facebook is the only way I'm able to stay in touch with people, incuding family, back home. For a person living abroad, it's invaluable.

You have heard of email haven't you? Why why don't you try Vonnage? I have a friend who lives in Panama and he has an American phone number through Vonnage and its unlimitit calling for $25 a month.

if you know the email addresses of everyone you went to high school and college with, then you got too much time.

Facebook, you can type in a name and find someone. Like the above poster said, for someone far away, that's priceless -- not this $25/mnth stuff.

plus you can get clairs how many games to go to an nba championship updates -- which unfortunately ends prematurely every year. :yelwink2:
