You can even look at 2003. We gave up 411 yards of total offense to Georgia the first time we played them. Seems to me we came out of that season ok...

What about being young and somewhat inexperienced and having to learn a whole new system. Talent isn't everything.

Apparently Saban failed in his goal of eliminating the "catastrophe syndrome" from the program. There seems to be a strong infestation...

Be patient, the Tigers will rule [IMG]

That may be the dumbest thing I ever heard! So our staff should watch film of Saban on the sidelines too I guess to see how he reacts to stuff, so they can be like him?!

Our staff needs freedom to do what they have to do man!

A new system is tough, but you can't say it SHOULDN't happen. Tiger Woods put in a new swing after winning 9 tournaments in a season

    Great Post!!! I agree 100%

I said it before and I say it again, it was one game and the first game of the season. I was disappointed in the D, like everyone else. They know they have to improve, they will work on it, and I think it can be improved.

I don't believe anyone can give a good eval of Miles/Pellini till after several games, like 3 or 4.

Give the men a chance. It's been said, we beat #15 on the road, they had a warm up game, we didn't, we had hurricane distraction, they didn't. Great win for the Tigers.

Give the men a chance, rally round the team and coaches, and support our Fightin Tigers!!! Never give up on anyone too quickly. How quickly would you like others to give up on you? Would you like a fair opportunity to show what you can do?

Give the men a chance. Everyone knows we need to improve, we have two weeks to work on it, Pellini has credentials, I think the pass D WILL IMPROVE against Tenn.

I want to see another game. (I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE TENN. GAME!). Then we'll have a better idea about the D.

Name me one defensive coordinator who ever did this. Just one.

When somebody is brought in from the outside it is with the understanding that they will install their own defense. Nobody but Nick or one of his disciples is going to be comforatble with Saban's defense.
