Thread the needle???????.......read what I said. Yeah he threaded the needle and then we tackled the receiver. I'm talking about bumping at the line. Holding somebody up to where Keller may have to wait for longer than a second to find an open receiver.

You're right the other team wants to win too.......but it's our job to stop them and we didn't except for 2 drives the whole night. I'll bet you were a Tepper/DiNardo apologist too dude. So nobody can question a defense ranked 5th last year giving up 600 yards to a team? You're the damned whiner.....

SabanFan: "Stop asking questions about my future husband Les Miles and his team. Stop it........he's the smartest most brilliant man ever.....just like my other man-lover Lou Tepper."

Sorry, have always been and will always be a LSU fan no matter what. I don't jump on my team or bash them at the slightest sign of trouble, and I don't rant weeks after something has happend just to hear myself bitch.
I don't think anyone was happy by the way our D played in the first game of the year, and I sure most to all would agree that we expect them to get much better. To start a new thread evey few seconds on the same topic is going overboard, but hey, it is expected on this board.

    This is crazy!!!

No one was as shocked as I was about the way our defense played but you
have to consider it was the first game of the season with a new coaching staff
    and a new team.
You also have to consider the disaster that happened and how all the players and
coaches involved aren't in their normal routine.
Shy is sleeping on the floor in his place, he has I don't know how many people staying
    with him.
Some of our players won't be in their normal routine for sometime because their homes,
    apartments aren't normal or routine.
I'm not making excuses but you have to put things in perspective.

We game Mike Archer, Curley Hullman, Gerry Dinardo, Lou Tepper and many other football, baseball and basketball coaches plenty of chances to prove themselves.
Bo should get the same, I support him unless we give up 500 yards a game for the
whole season, thats a little different!

There's a difference between expecting excellence from your team and calling for a coaches job after one friggin game. We've played ONE game. ONE. We haven't gone through a whole season, we haven't gone through six game, heck we haven't even gone through two games with Bo, we've played ONE. Please give it a rest and give the guy a chance. Geez.

I'm pretty sure that has more to do with Belechick coaching New England than it does Bo leaving.

    They went 10-3 in 2003

This one is a really bad example to support your cause. OU is 24-3 over the last 2 years with a Div. South Championship in 2003 and an outright Big 12 title in 2004. Not to mention back to back apperances in the NCG. By any standards, that's a great two years.
