I really don't want Coach Miles to leave. If he did I think Coach Pelini would be a great choice. He really got shafted at Nebraska. I believe he would do a great job on the Bayou.

This is hard to imagine. The SEC is so far superior to the Big 10 that even if Les's heart is still in Ann Arbor, his mind must be in Baton Rouge.

The fastest players in football come to play down South. More and more, they're signing with LSU. LSU can be a top-5 team for years to come. Miles can be the king of Louisiana for a decade or more if he chooses.

Only a sentimental fool would leave a situation like that.

Plus, Les knows now that 110 thousand fans in the Big House can't hold a candle to 92,000 in Death Valley at night.

I suspect, especially after the Hokie beat down, that both his mind AND heart now reside in Tiger Town.

No doubt they have talent, but not as much as LSU. But with Michigan losing it is going to hurt recruiting for them. And Michigan isnt really in a great location to get great talent every year. The furture for an LSU head coach is more secure than the future for a Michigan head coach.

UM has the talent where they are considered contenders for a NC but they just haven't performed up to expectations so I don't buy that argument. And, UM is a school that can recruit across the nation, and not just a specific geographic area.

Miles played for UM, and was willing to take a big hit financially to be an assistant coach for UM.
