I read that to. I think if it is true this guy is a boster etc etc.

Then this is an outrage. Please as much as I tried there is no way I could call an LSU game fairly. Even if I told myself I would. The fact is I wouldn't. And probably not on purpose. I just would. If a call could go either way then who do you think I would go with. And without Instant reply this could cause a team to lose a game.

However it poses a different question. How many Refs are Alumni or Boosters of other schools. If I called and Auburn game they would be 1st and 20 every series.

    Most Refs graduated from somewhere.

I assume most of these men have character, but it exposes something we never really thought of ?? has this happened before and have refs hearts sometimes called games as opposed to their eyes.

Maybe that would explain the Double D Punt Returns. ;)

    Geaux Tigers.

Sure most refs graduated from somewhere, and many may be boosters. It would not be difficult to keep them from officiating games for those particular schools. Like how bowl games use refs from conferences other than the ones playing.

I read that too, but the ref in question is not the one that made the call.
