Do it and leave your T Boys Boudin Bias at the door......it's ok to agree with me.

Well the verdict is in. On my way in I made a wrong turn (fate) and passed by "Billys". I recal hearing about their boudin too so I figured I try a link. Pretty dam good but saved half to compare. Went on up to The Best Stop and picked up a link. It was very good too. Tasted like a very good rice dressing- moreso than boudin. Seriously. If you like theirs over Billy's, T Boy's may not change your mind either but T Boy's does have a slight edge on Billy's in my book.

I preferred Billy's to theirs and I could eat Billy's as much as I eat T Boy's. They both have a lot of spices/flavor. One thing I noticed bout TBS was theirs has big pieces of "Green onions". I love that in a rice dressing but in boudin I prefer a more subtle blend of herbs/spices.

    Oh and here's the proof/pic.

I probably mentioned their boudin. On our trips back and forth from Texas, I always stopped in Krotz Springs to get some. Before you knew it, I was bringing back 30-40 pounds of it to TX. Those Wichita Falls people loved them some boudin once I got em to try it. They would place their orders with me whenever I was making a trip.

Are they the same as the ones in Cankton/Scott?

Not positive. I know he has one in Opelousas. I'll have to ask next time I'm there.
