I agree that is why I have had a problem with people singling out BP alone from the start.
Often in this country we don't have true perspective.

BP denies CEO resigning, Gulf storm looms | NOLA.com

A Russian news agency reports that Hayward will resign...Russian news agencies were dead on about Chernobyl (pronounced "Share no bull") so I wouldn't put much stock in this. The article also says Alex is expected to disrupt the cleanup and push oil inland.

    Too far.

I fail to understand why the entire planet is not completely involved with this mess. Seems it is only the problem for the Gulf Coast but the problem belongs to everyone. This will effect every ocean on the planet in due time. You simply cannot expect 1 body of ecological production to be murdered and the rest not effected. The talk about performing a cleanup and "returning" the Gulf to normal is so fuggin infuriating. Families are buying off on this promise though oil CONTINUES to spew into the ocean. Why did we not nuke the friggin hole a month ago boggles the mind. No one said why the nuke option was not feasible. The ecological damage from a nuke has already been exceeded by that of what remains.

Mother nature is gonna make us pay. If the spill was capped today, this thread would remain on topic for another 13 generations. I do not buy off on talk of doom but this is SOOO phucked our generation will never know. If you do not think so, ask Alaska.
