LOL...I try to steer clear of the Brady bashing threads (for the record, I'm no fan of his, but I don't belabor the point), but I can't resist making an observation given his comments above.

John, your team is on fire and has torn through the SEC so far this season (yes, winning 9 of 13 is "tearing" IMO). Why even think let alone discuss your reasoning as to why an LSU team that loses three straight games to end the season should still get in? You, the head coach, of all people should feel sure that the team that's won 70% of its conference games so far will win at least two of the next three (66%), if not all three.

Positive thinking, big fella. It'll get you places in this life.

i dont have a problem with considering that point of view. all we're doing here is shooting the $hit, right?

It's on ESPN's insider. NCAA Selection Committee compares teams or groups of teams using what is called a "Nitty Gritty" report.

Oh no, I don't have a problem with we fans considering LSU doing anything from not winning again this season to not losing again until early April.

The coach, the person to whom the players look for guidance, on the other hand shouldn't even bring up in public the possibility of losing three consecutive to end the season. Discussing it on a Birmingham radio station is, to me, bringing it up in public.

I want everyone on that team, from John Brady on down, to just keep doing what they're doing right now. If, oddly, that includes Brady talking before each game about how a loss that game would affect their NCAA tourney chances, them I'm all for it.

    But I doubt he's doing such a thing...LOL.

Then, why does it have LSU as a 7 v 10, UCLA, when I click on the link?
