It is better to remain silent and have people think you're a fool, than to post idiotic nonsense like this and remove all doubt. Sit down and quit rocking the bandwagon.
I wasn't around when this thread was started, or if I was, I didn't participate. Why? Because look at it. Were these "educated" posts from "educated" basketball fans? This is an example of the fine line between bashing and good fans having some criticism. I hate to play the Brady ball debate again, but when folks look back at how much the man was vilified (like in this post), how can you not be shocked that he and our program had to endure this? I'm sure these same people are going to be coming around and singing the praises of the team and having selective memories of their comments. If Brady actually DOES win the championship this year, some of our "fans" are really going to look stupid. :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. IGNORE THE POSER FANS.
Hmmm, You don't have any thing better to do then try and start a fight. You find a post over a year old and then call me out like I made it today. What a pathetic life you must lead!:dis: I admit I was wrong about Brady and now I think he can do the job but you will attack me for anything I say until one of us is dead. Just keep in mind that I'm not around that much anymore and I won't waste my time arguing with someone like you that has nothing better to do. What a waste BTW You wouldn't be doing this if you were wrong, you are gloating and a pathetic person and that speaks wonders about your lack of character and lack of class. When I wrote that above Glen Davis wasn't in basketball shape, 350 pounds or something? He could've turned out the other way around but he didn't. Hindsight is 20/20 Jerk! Don't tell me what to do, I don't take orders from anyone! Now whos rockin the bandwagon starting trouble?
Here you go Joe.. Thought you passed this one up on your way to a shooting spree. Well TT has impressed me the most since playing at McKinley. Chauncey Moore, his HS coach who I don't like anyway, had him playing on the wing a lot and he shot a lot of 3s. He was nothing like this in HS. He had good jumping ability and could run the floor well. Just a very good athlete more than a B-ball player. TT has really matured and improved since HS. He reminds me now of Kedrick Brown. That would have been a good jumping contest b/c both could reach the sky and both are so quick off the floor. Both are great shot blockers, but the key is they do it w/o fouling. I really believe that if KB would have come to LSU a lot of people who are amazed at TT would have felt the same about KB. There certainly are some fools gold in college recruiting as well as some diamonds in the rough. Some work out, others don't. TT just worked out. Glad he did. :thumb:
Read this at your next BBA meeting. I can't seem to muster up any sympathy. I only wish TE was here to take his lumps. You reap what you sow, my friend. Brady Bashers have all this and more coming to them. Eat your crow and STFU.
FU, you tried to tell me what to do and how to think. Geaux back and read what you said. It aint over, you act like LSU will win it all and Brady will be Coach K from here on out. I never said Brady wouldn't take LSU to the final four but I know you will lump it all together. FU says it all, yep don't hurt your fingers typing... blah, blah, blah... Btw, I love how people like you don't want people to make fools out of themselves. The thing is I've argued with idiots like you about letting me make an ass out of myself if I want. It is America and not Nazi Germany I thought. How assinine is this whole conversation.
nobody's bothered to address the situation with players saying they hated him. i would really like someone to out and out say it's true or it's false. i suspect two of the three alleged players are no longer here and the third is redshirting though.
My humble opinion on this which SabanFag won't want to hear is this years team is more about the players than Brady. On tv interviews the last few days even Brady admitted that the players have calmed him down, he is a little more laid back than normal. Maybe he and all of us can learn a lesson from these 18 year old kids such as Garrett Temple, Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas and I'm not talking just basketball here, also talking about life, situations.
of course it's about the players. no coincidence boeheim's only nc was when he had a top five nba draft pick for one season. he's a hall of fame coach. people's problem with brady is his character and his recruiting and player relationship development. i haven't seen a single person come out and say john brady doesn't know how to coach basketball. im enjoying the ride though.
Sure, the players are special and the chemistry they have is obvious. But, what's your point? Roy Williams won last year with a super stacked team with 4 draft picks on it. They got Roy his first national championship after many questioned whether he could win the big one. Of course a team's success is determined by its players. Always will. BUT, a coach has to recruit the players, prepare them to reach their greatness, and put them in a position to win. I don't think that this team's chemistry "waters down" the role of the coach. I think true enough, Brady owes a lot to his team in this magical run, but no doubt about it, John Brady is now a final four coach.
