a team is required to have nba draft picks in order to win championships. a great coach who has a bunch of scrubs will not win honkey. see texas tech this year.

argue that brady has had a track record of doing the above prior to this year.

some would say that. i dunno. i chalk it up to finally having players who are both talented and will work hard and play according to his game plan. he's had either or, but not both up to this point. who's fault is that? it doesn't matter because this is the greatest lsu season i've ever watched.

This is what is known as the "Brady Bashers Backstroke". You guys are pathetic. Even if he wins the NC, he'll still be a chump if he doesn't repeat. First loss and you idiots are right back on his a$$. Just admit you are stupid fools who got backed into a corner by the coach they hate. And cheer up. Even with a basketball NC, Smoke's right there to put some meaning into your miserable lives as supposed fans. Freakin stupid bastards.

I think you and I am arguing some of the same points. I should have quoted SourDough to make it clearer. You and I make the same point on point 1. Every championship team has good players... players that Coaches have recruited. So, I don't like it argued that... "oh, well, this team of BR kids who have played together for 10 years, thus it's more the team and less Brady." It seems to me to water down the job that Brady did. He did "assemble" this team along with his staff. Especially nice when you consider Tyrus wasn't recruited by many (was perhaps headed to Miami?) and Garrett also. He had to lock up the rest, when our program was coming out of probation, and our facilities weren't great and our bandwagon fans weren't supporting the program.

Brady's track record prior to this year isn't bad in light of the probation. Top half to third in the SEC after the probation years, with improving RPI, NCAA and NIT appearances (aren't there plenty of coaches being canned this year for not reaching this plateau?). It's kind of incredulous to me some of the folks who bash his record, when you consider that he had a sweet 16 run with Stro' (still in the probation era), he upset Arizona #1, and he had his teams moving up in the RPI year after year. Consider this when he didn't really have a full recruiting year off probation until he signed a #5 class with Brandon Bass and crew. It took some time, but the objective fans could see what he was building.

Regardless, as I've said before, people who don't like Brady will look for illogical reasons to dislike him. How many coaches in the SEC have made a final four? How many active coaches in the country for that matter? They all have good players and good luck along the way...

:geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. BRADY... A FINAL FOUR COACH.

Sourdoughman, SabanFan is just a pathetic sociopathic redneck with a rural background. He can not carry out a civilized conversation without threatening, cursing swearing etc. Guys like SabanFan should be banned from breathing and living, let alone getting on forums.

Do not give stalk to what he says. He is Saddam's country brother in the US

by bringing up a year old post and scolding me as if I was a little child.

    Get real and grow up.
Geaux toot your horn to someone else for a little while.
Your nothing but a whiner yourself, the same people you whine about.

Now that I think about this situation logically.
The Brady Bashers are playing SabanFan like a fiddle.
I can't believe he is that weak minded to let them control
and affect him in life or on this forum the way it has.

He tries to thnk and play like he's god but this proves he aint.
LVTGRFN you are correct but SF doesn't have any logic there.
His life is consumed by the Brady Bashers and hate.

Now Boys, can't we all get along. Now lets have a "Group Grope", I mean Group Hug.

I have to admit, I have been impressed with this team. Even if they lost the A&M game, I would be impressed with Brady and this team. I don't know what has changed with Brady or what, but I think our future has gotten brighter for Basketball.

I've never been a Brady fan, he does have a great eye for talent but I've never been impressed with his coaching and the dismal seasons they had. Maybe it was because they would have just 1 or 2 really talented guys and the rest couldn't keep up. I don't know. I give Brady much credit this year and these guys have played with so much fire and hustle.

    Congrats Brady and Team.
