Think OSU will toss in Eddie Sutton as well?

Tack has promise, but he's nowhere near a good sec point guard yet.

I don't know if Gonzaga has better talent. I think it depends how you define talent. Obviously Few is a great coach, but I also think he knows what players to get--and I don't necessarily mean great "talents" (ie Koundja). He gets guys that he knows he has a good shot at turning into great college players. I think Brady is so full of himself that he doesn't care so much about coachability--he thinks he can make them alll great players. Way too much emphasis is put on "talent" as far as I'm concerned. In football too. Hell, the bowl game was probably a reflection of that too.

No, this team is not anywhere near as good as the 2000 team (dont forget Doughman that Dupree didnt get pt that year). but this team probably has as much/more "talent".

a friend of mine, who is a LHSAA basketball referee, reffed LSU's scrimage (against each other) during the holidays. One thing he was surprised about was Brady's lack of respect from his players. Specifically he said Tack, Bass and Brady were often cussing each other out during the scrimage. Now maybe it works for them (but we all know it's not working) but if I'm a coach, I demand respect. JB has got to go!

Sometimes there's more discipline on a high school team than some college teams. When players can "talk back" to a coach, much less cuss a coach, all respect is gone.

    let's talk x's and o's...

No, this team isn't better than that team, but that team should've went to the final four.

Everyone hates an, "I told you so..."

    So I won't say it...

But do you guys think a mid-season replacement will take place? I seriously dislike the idea...I would hope the Administration takes heed of the ever growing levels of discontent that's manifested with these types of threads, as well as the fans continuing removal of support in terms of "fannies in the stands"...I'm sure they're receiving some negative e-mail regarding Brady, and that they need to do something...

But, I think it would be more prudent to wait until the end of the season....

    WITH ONE EXCEPTION...

If they'd let Butch Pierre become interim coach to "audition" for the job fulltime next year...

    Gumborue,
I think we agree more than we realize but the more I hear, see and learn of Brady the
sicker I become, if what BigBully says its true Brady needs to go.
Look I always supported Brady until mid season last year when things fell apart, I watched recruiting and wonder why we didn't try and recruit the kid that went to Tulane and Texas Tech from Louisiana along with a few others.
I was very unhappy with the inconsistant performance from last year, we beat Bama
twice and then lost games we never should've.

Let me say that NO ONE wants our mens basketball team to win more than I and that is part of the problem, I love football and basketball.
Now with the football situation up in the air for next year it would be nice to have a
disciplined team that played like a team instead of everyone going one on one,(mens basketball).

Ler me remind you I said up in the air about football, after having one of the best defenses in college football I will just say I'm scared as hell, 75th in offense and defense?
We knew what we were going to get with Saban and Company.

Vincent, who's fault is it if they should've been in the final four?
