I just re-read my post. Why in God's name was I saying Smoke instead of Skip? Talk about a major blonde moment. Man, I never know when those will hit!:hihi:

It isn't all Brady, but Brady has contributed with untimely losses, player retention, and reportedly bad relations with the team. I think untimely losses have been the key component in poor attendance.

But considering the success Brady has had the past few seasons (despite untimely losses), especially the run to the final four this year, Brady deserves cash, additional contract time, and more support from the administration for his program. Brady may or may not be the best thing since sliced bread, but his success has earned him the right to demand these things; if we don't give it to him I do believe other schools will be willing to offer that up to him. Complaining about his contract is foolish because there is market demand for his services. As stated earlier, that is capitalism and the nature of the business. Coaches should and will be paid what they deserve, either by their current school or another school looking for someone to turn around their program. A number of you guys are beyond ridiculous.

[Edit]: Deek, not all of this is directed at you.

Whether viewing porn or just not being a productive worker, if you can't take steps in firing a problem employee, there must be something wrong with the contract. Documentation is key in the process of eliminating a problem employee, that and following a fair, stepped policy in dealing with the employee.

Quite honestly...yes. In the past 15 some odd years you haven't had a good push to market basketball. Seimone has put basketball back in the forefront and that also benefits the mens team. The Final Four jump started the campaign to give b-ball a push again. They need to run with it.

Believe me there are far fewer Brady haters than true basketball fans. They just need to make them 'want ' to see the Tigers play again.

the fans will not come back with brady as coach. hes been an embarrassment for lsu and fans. it would be good for everyone if he left on his own. should have been fired a few years ago.

Last season was the highest average attendance since 94/95 season and has been going up gradually each year since 00/01. If his teams continue to acheive the fans will once again fill the place up.
