Brday Quinn showed just how good he was against our defense in the Sugar bowl.
Sounds like he might need a bigger helmet?
His head has definitely grown in size since then!

No way you can respect a person who acts the way Brady Quinn does. No one constantly complains about draft status. Did ML complain last year about goin #11; and why has JR not said anything about how he should be No. 1. Because both of those players have class

I lost the slight respect I had for Quinn during the season when he stated he was frustrated about the pictures the media took of him. Saying they didnt catch him in his likeness and made him look ugly.:dis: He is a whinner plain and simple.

I'm just wondering...what is the "much more" that Quinn says he has when comparing himself to JR. Was it the ability to lose to basically the only tough teams he played last year or the ability to look like a total PU$$ everytime he got hit or touched against USC? He looked like he was about to cry the whole game even when he was barely getting hit. He's right, that really is a unique quality. Or could he have been talking about his 0-3 bowl record as the ND QB? Not many people can say they've lost three bowl games in a career. That's impressive. At least he went out there and proved that Notre Dame did indeed deserve to be in a BCS bowl game despite getting stomped by the big teams on their schedule. He really proved the people wrong on that one. Who wouldn't want a QB that plays that good with a chip on his shoulder?

He needs to quit pumping himself up. He's pretty good and JR is good. Neither one of them was as good as Vince Young in college and he didn't go #1. Just be happy you're in the top 10. By the way, he doesn't really need to worry about where he's going to be living because if he plays in the NFL like he did against LSU, he'll be living under whatever overpass he chooses very shortly.

Whoa.......we're getting off the point here.... I simply posted that he was confident without alienating people:
You threw this out, saying that he was "Generally reguarded as an...."
    Then I show where
Which, btw, referred to his family as in his childhood- his Biography speaks to this.

    Then you jumped ship here.
Regardless of my opinion (Which happens to be the same as yours concerning spouses who are unfaithful), apparently it didn't affect his popularity.

That was one stain on Jordan’s clean image - the allegation that he had a compulsive gambling problem. The NBA cleared him in 1993, after conducting two investigations. Jordan even admits he’s made some reckless choices at the gambling table with his money.
Your reference to his strong competitiveness is right on target, his father even referenced it- Said his son didn’t have a gambling problem, but a competitive problem. It's splitting hairs but there is a weird sort of correlation.....like Terry says, "Semantics". :)

One last note: As of June '06 he was #26 in the top 100 celebrities so I wouldn't go as far as to say he was "Generally regarded as an ahole off the court", surely not to say he was a Saint in life either but "Generally speaking":hihi: he was perceived as a good man.

This isnt the first time Quinn runs his mouth. And I actually read the article yestersay. Quinn is repeatedly crying out loud that he is the best QB out there. Rule #1, no one talks about how good he is, other people are the ones who evaluate and judge. Rule #2, no decent person compares himself on the expense of someone else. Rule #3, when someone treats you with respect, you should treat him with respect too. While Quinn has been repeatedly running his mouth about how better he is from Russell, Russell's response was "I hope Brady does well in the draft." And we all know what a bitch Quinn was when he intentionally changed his workout times so that he doesnt get to meet Russell, and acting like a bitch when he's around him (read what Russell's uncle said). And what he said yesterday is completely unacceptable, for him to say I offer much more is referring to intelligence. I dont think he can claim this when there is no prove in the world that this little whinny bitch is smarter than Russell, because everyone who has coached Russell said he is very smart. And with respect to being more prepared, yes he's been coached by a QB guru for the last two years, and ran a pro style offense, but the question here is, has he faced pro style defense??? LSU runs one, how good was Quinn against them? How about Michigan, how good was he against that defense? What IDIOTS across the country are assuming is Russell has only played against ND, but what those idiots dont understand is the guy has a 25-4 record as a starter, and this QB "that looked good against a bad defense" has 8 come from behind wins, is the 3rd most effecient QB in the nation and was a defensive coordinator's nightmare, yes, the same D. Coordinators that run pro style defenses in the SEC, the same SEC defenses that send a HUGE number of players to the pros. Hell, his practice is even a QB's nightmare, having to face our front seven and LL in the secondary every week.
Bottom line is, Quinn should shut up and let his play do the talking, because his mouth isnt going to help him convince no one to pick him 1st.
