It's on the official AU website. He's headed for a Division II team for immediate playing time, likely. http://www.auburntigers.com/football/page.cfm?doc_id=6349
I'm so glad Nick Saban is able to get better quality individuals than kids like this one! I guess my sig says it all
Sourgoudh...I need another laugh...Tell me all about how Nick Saban didn't want this kid... Talk about a clueless statement... LOL!
So we won't have the 3 musketeers to worry about next year? I mean come on, they combined for like 48 yards against us last year.
You have to admit, Auburn's offensive line let them down BIGTIME last year... Caddy's the real deal, & I'm talking about he's as good as any tailback we've got on our roster...Say what you want... As for Ronnie Brown, when Caddie went down two years ago, he looked all-conference in his stead... As for Brandon Jacobs...Under Saban, he could have been much more sheltered than at "The Jungle" on the Plains... Can anyone for an instant compare the levels of discipline and teaching, as well as the peer intervention programs that take place at LSU as compared to Auburn? It's night, and day, and so would have been his progress... He would have caused transfers of tailbacks from LSU, I tell you...He also could have been an absolute MONSTER at defensive end...
I'm not an Auburn apologist...I'm just not a revisionist historian... The fact is that LSU went after Brandon HARD, and Saban wanted him BAD...To say we steered clear because of his character issues, as Sourdoughman said, is ludicrous, and it's a fallacy laden statement. The other fact is that I don't think that just because LSU won the national title, everyone else's talent is crap. Caddie was a 1st round tailback if he left this past year...and Ronnie Brown played very well in his absence due to injury... No apologies...Just simple facts... Care to refute them go ahead...But to call me an apologist for pointing out facts is a little odd, dontcha think?
