    Terrible, absolutely HORRIBLE news... That would pretty much do it for his career at LSU--baseball-wise if true. I think he would have had a brighter future playing bball rather than football, but I can't fault the guy for being able to kick it well too... CJ is such a vocal and emotional guy that I was REALLY REALLY REALLY looking forward to seeing him lift this team on his shoulder. I think we're a possible 45+ win team with him playing and we may be a 30-ish win team without depending on how others step up. Tough loss, I'd rather lose to Tulane and USL EVERY year than lose a guy like Chris.

    But, I did latch onto this bit of info. For those that complain about Miles being so secretive about injuries....

    This season is going to be rough. Jackson was one of the very few bright spots in our lineup.
