Top safety Loston makes commitment to LSU official

Under Armour All-American Craig Loston, the nation's No. 1-rated safety, made his commitment to LSU public Friday during the Burger King High School All-America Skills Challenge at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Loston named Texas A&M as his other finalist.

Loston joins cousin Russell Shepard (Houston/Cypress Ridge) in Baton Rouge and both have the chance to play early for LSU.

I am curious as to the reason why Loston would announce his commitment just before the Under Armor game, instead of during the game like a lot of the recuits. Would this have any domino effects???
