Nice to see that team loyalty in LT. Dude wanted to stay for real and he took a salary hit to follow up 09 with in order to stay. Most backs would have split for an extra roll of quarters. LT showed a lot of character and integrity by his decision.

NO would have been better off paying to get him on a one year. I certainly would have pitied the fool.

SD has the talent and remarkably with Norv, the staff to make a run in 09.

 

I respect Brees for wanting to make the Saints better. It would be crazy...before we would have to have Bush and McCallister each with their own strengths...but LT is the best of both of them.
