glad to see it at this point I just want to see drew break all the nfl passing records 3 more seasons, he breaks some of them and others he will be on the cusp behind manning, 4 more seasons they all fall, 5 more seasons and we'll be talking about the unheard of 600 touchdown mark and 80,000 yards

His technique is flawless, which means he relies on arm strength less than players past like Marino and Elway, who were shells of their former selves at the end of their careers (yes Elway won 2 Super Bowls to end his career, but it was Terrell Davis who led them). So it's entirely conceivable that at age 41, he will still be very effective. A lot will have to do with the quality of his line. In the last 3 games of the season, the line really came together and he got sacked only 2 times. He was on pace or 5200 yards and 34 TDs had he played all 16 games. There is NO sign of decline in his game. My guess he'll play 4 more seasons and break all the records.
Same thing with Brady. His technique is what allows him to throw with such accuracy and velocity in wind and cold up in NE. I just worry about things I have seen in the past, where players are all pro, then all of a sudden their play falls off a cliff. I don't know if we will actually be able to see a decline coming. It will just be painfully obvious one of these years.
I would not have said that about Brady until I saw him this season. He really worked hard in the offseason to become "more nimble" and it showed in the pocket and throwing the ball on the run. Best I've ever seen from him in his entire career. So yes, Brady could go 2-3 more seasons as well (2 years older than Drew).
Unless Brees makes significant changes in his contract to free up cap space it won't make a difference how long he stays.
