Brees WILLNOT sign tendered offer..

How much of this is coming from Brees and how much from his agent?

 

Brees and Payton will be Cowboys in the future and prolly win a few Superbowls there.

 

This is Brees' last contract, most likely. I said he should try to get every penny he can get.

 

Yeah, they have until, what is it, July to get a deal done? That's more than enough time for both parties to take deep breaths, calm down and get something worked out.

Of course they will, but they should have gotten it worked out a lot sooner. They had the entire season, plus about 3-4 months after the Saints playoff run ended to get it done, but they didn't, so they had to waste the franchise tag on Drew, when they could have applied it to Nicks or Colston or one of the other FAs.
