1. that implies that the reason two people fall in love and have sex with each other is to have children, right?

but isn't it clear that as we have evolved socially love and relationships have expanded beyond the need to procreate? hell, the way i see it, humans haven't "needed" to procreate for hundreds if not thousands of years...

i am a middle class, white male. white men have been dumped on for, what? 40, 50 years at the most? to all those complaining about how they can't get a job or a scholarship or whatever -- sorry, but white men ruled the world for the majority of recent history. just enjoy the fact that you DONT get pulled over for looking like a "gangbanger" or "terrorist", and many of the other benefits to being a white male you enjoy every day without realizing it.

kinchens comments were a mistake, and he was punished appropriately.
  2. When did this become an issue of race? Gayness has no color boundaries.
  3. Aren't you glad we don't!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. that's what i'm sayin! i don't think i chose to be hetero but thank God I am...
  5. Like I said, the action of having gay sex is obviously a choice, but that does not mean the emotions are. You have a choice in whether you sleep with women, but that doesn't mean you have a choice in whether you feel sexually attracted to them.
  6. This thread shows that there are several Gay-Americans lurking at TF.
  7. Who mentioned evolution?

Choices and feelings are two seperate things.

There is some evidence, none yet conclusive, that shows it could be genetic. That is all that can be offered. Eventually, it may be proved one way or the other. Until then, does it really matter?
  8. sure it matters. if it's proven that it's genetic or innate then the closed minded people can't admonish gay people for being different if their own god made them that way.
damn, this is getting heavy, can we just make fun of miles??
  9. The "white men get dumped on" comments were answers to a specific question (i.e. What prejudices have WE ever faced?). Very few of us (middle-class white men) just come out and complain about the prejudices against us, without being asked about it. For the most part we take it in stride that there are double standards in the world. We also seem to be the only group who can take in stride anything "offensive" said about us. Or at least we're the only one's you can bash on TV or radio and not lose your job. Think about it, you cannot make a deragatory remark about gays, asians, blacks, canadians, mixed-breeds, male ice-skaters, inbreds, indians, arabs, jews, muslims, fat people, cripples, retards, women, carribean islanders, mexicans, disfigured kids, aids patients, poor people, blind people, old people, dead people, UL-L fans, cavemen, etc. etc. etc. But middle class, catholic, straight white guy is fair game for everyone. Why is that? Because apparently we're the only group MAN ENOUGH to handle it.
  10. Nutriaitch,

I was right with you until I saw 'catholic'.

I must draw the line somewhere.

but yeah, being a white guy (straight, tax-paying, horrible dancer) sucks. and not in the whole homosexual sense of sucking.

    FOREVER LSU!

P.S. not that there's anything wrong with that.
