What is this society coming to!!! JEEZZZ!!!! You can't say ANYTHING anymore without someone being offended!!!

How can comedians get away with this and others in the public eye can lose their job over it....

Instead of having words to say that can be considered "offensive" we need to have a few words that we are allowed to say!!!

    Social Responsibility

    1) Yes, gay people watch and love college football. (LSU fans should know that better than anyone, i.e. Alabama game last year). BTW, "those people" not only watch sports, they PLAY sports...and have jobs, families and religious affiliation. In all honesty, there are probably literally thousands of "those people" attending LSU football games on saturdays, paying tuition during the school year or donating to the Alumni Association. So pull your heads out of the sand.

    2) I'd be willing to bet $1000 that the overwhelming majority here complaining that it's ridiculous that we have to watch what we say for fear of offending someone are non-gay white males. (what a shocker) What REAL prejudice have you ever really had to really face in your life? None. So to belittle those who have to endure such treatment is socially irresponsible and terribly selfish and insensitive.

So my advice to any and all illinformed bigots on here, take or leave it, is until you have walked that mile in someone else's shoes, don't assume you are the end all expert on their worth to society or humanity. Simply put, you're not.

Thanks for your time Geaux Tigers.

    Re: Social Responsibility

White males are the most hated people on the planet. We deal with prejudice every day - especially every time we apply for a job or graduate school. We need higher scores than other people because we're white & we're men.

    This should get interesting... :hihi:

    Ill-informed bigot here.

Did someone touch a soft spot with you Football Fan?

I am sick of this nonsense. I am sick of having to filter every thought so not to offend. I am sick of the political correctness that says because I am a white, heterosexual, Christian male that my right to free speech is not the same as a someone else. We say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas just because the name Christ is offensive. It is sad that if someone wants to pray to God they can't but if a radical wants to burn a flag or if two ...... during graduation want to hold hands and french kiss it with in their rights. It does not matter if 90% of America thinks it is wrong we now cater to the 10%. Because we have to be sensitive and we can't offend. If that makes me an Ill-informed bigot well I am sorry.
