With all due respect, he's been in college, what, three weeks now? And most of the time if you mind your business and just stick with your friends nothing happens....

P.S. get out and live life while you still can, "old man" Scrappy.

You might find it necessary to explore tigerland at 2am(the later you're there, the easier the pickin') on sat night when you can't find a woman that wants to sit on your sofa and watch sportscenter for the third time that night....

BTW, never marry a chick you meet at a bar.

So many of my questions about you were answered in a single, non-sports related post.

I know bars are not your thing, but just so you know, bars in BR close at 2am, not 3am.

Regardless of how much fun it is to be at said bar at 2Am. if there was a squad rule stating he had a curfew, then he should get dicsplined.
If there was no rule then he can stay out till whenever.

Just because you're allowed to do it doesn't mean he is. College Athletes need to follow coach's guidelines for many reasons.

If there are no guidelines then I guess he was within his rights, as far as being out late.

Going to college has nothing to do with it. Staying out late was invented long before higher education.

Apparently two sides are now swearing the other is lying. I seem to think the original story is somewhere in the middle

I have never heard of a college athlete having a curfew during the offseason. It makes me laugh when goofballs like you send out negative rep just because you disagree with an opinion. I said it was a big part of college life. I don't recall saying the only people who stay out late are those in college. Learn how to read.

I do have fun, but I'm not big on the bar scene.

An ole coach of mine told me a long time ago that there's only two kinds of people out at 2 a.m. - the law and the outlaw! (I'm pretty sure he borrowed this saying from someone, but the message was still the same.) I'm in no way casting stones because God knows I was out in places I shouldn't have been on many a nights in college. But that being said, I wasn't on scholarship to play football either.
Now, I believe this whole thing is going to go away and there won't be any charges brought about by the DA. But I guarantee Chase will be disciplined by Les Miles for not representing LSU, the athletics department or the football team in a manner in which he is expected to. He didn't use good judgement and therefore will suffer a punishment. Hopefully, once he receives his discipline the only other time we hear Chase Pittman being mentioned in the media is because he's been named a player of the week.
