Gibbs (C), Dean (1B), Hanover (2B), Delatte (3B), Nola (SS), Watkins (LF), Landry (CF), Mahtook (RF), Gaudet (DH) I think the weekend (if AR is healthy) is Ross, Bourgeois and Ranaudo. If AR is not healthy, then I would go with Rittiner then Bradshaw in order. Midweek starter, I would choose Rittiner (AR healthy), Matulis, Bradshaw. Setup men: Bertuccini (midweek), Mormann. Closer is Ott and Bertuccini. Mid-relief and midweek pitching will be the challenges this season. LSU opponents are hitting and scoring. The defense has been very good in my opinion - won't find a better outfield anywhere. And the hitting has been good. If Ranaudo gets healthy and two more pitchers develop during the season, it'll be tough to keep this team out of the CWS.
Thanks to John and Buddy for the play by play. As I have said before, it is great for us out of state Tigers. While I am thanking folks, thanks to everyone who corrected the spelling of the players' names and the score (it's hard to proof a post when you are doing it on the fly) - man this can be a mean crowd sometimes. Oh and by the way ---- How is RAAAAAAAnaudo? Any updates today? ldskule:
