That bleach job on Burrow, just wow...

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

After going back and looking over his numbers, he's averaging 5.8 yards per carry this season which is pretty damned good.. He's averaged about 4.6 in his career here so far. Just for comparison Forunette averaged 6.2 in his 3 years here, and Darrius Guice averaged 6.5.. Obviously there are way more variables involved than that, but I would think if he stayed one more year I think he could get that average up and it would be help his chances.

EDIT: With all that said, I am generally a fan of players sticking out the whole 4 years. That is probably clouding my vision a little bit.

150 yards from the line of scrimmage he's averaged in the four wins we've had against the AP top 10 teams this year.

He's come up the biggest on the biggest stages. That won't get overlooked by scouts.

Heard this little tidbit on ESPN this morning. Burrow is 27 days older than Lamar Jackson.

Who digs up stuff like that and why would they even think of it?

It was in praise of Jackson, not Burrow

Clyde has 1,187 all purpose yards through 9 games.
His 28 receptions this year puts him four away from cracking the top 5 in LSU history for catches by a running back, seven away from Jacob Hester's best season, and, holy smokes, Gary James once caught 50 balls in a season.

In all his efforts, I've never seen Clyde look...tired. Never see his hands on his hips. Just ready to ball the fuck out of the next play.
