Probably the best 1 term President this country ever had. His service career to this country is also unprecedented.

    Godspeed Mr President.

It was deserved but time to bury him. Had they waited any longer, I was almost at the point that I'd want to open the casket to make sure it wasn't a black fella in it.

Im with you on this one Tiga. Bush senior wasn't my favorite President but I liked him.Ronald Reagan was my President.

Bush was the last President to be in the Armed Forces and was a good man. And a hero to our country.

It was really a celebration of a great man , father and husband. A lot of funny stories by the speakers and one thing he had that isn't that prevalent today in politics is loyalty. One of the things I value in a person.

I could have done without some of the music but it was fine.

I had to work so was not able to go see the train pass but I did see the Navy flyover from the office windows. We also did a moment of silence when the train arrived in CS. I am thankful for his service to our country both in the military and in politics. He was a great man, one of the greatest generation.

Setting political beliefs aside for a moment, the gathering of executives at the funeral was, I think, unprecedented in American history. A deceased ex-president, eulogized by his son, another ex-president, with 3 more ex-presidents and the current president in attendance. The deceased was also an ex-vice president, with 5 other ex-VPs and the current VP in attendance.
