Of all the bad guys, why Sadaam? Why not Saudi Arabia when there is PROOF that a lot of their big money was directly involved in 9/11.
The case has been laid out. The bad guys will go down one by one. The search for Bin Laden continues and the circle around him is ever tightening. Saddam is in bed with Al Quiada and has failed, for 12 years, to disarm per UN resolution. Why now? What has he done to us? He exists. Just as Bin Laden and his radical followers exist. Take them out before they come after us again. And here is what the anti Bush faction fails to realize: They WILL come again. I thank God every day that we have a leader with the courage to do the right thing.

Saddam does neeed to be taken out, but I'm skeptical of ties to Osama. They have a common enemy--the United States--but that's all there is. Osama doesn't approve of secular regimes. The Saudis are unquestionably America's enemy. They keep their people poor and undeducated and blame us in the state-controlled media. But the Bush family has long-standing personal ties to the Sauds, so don't expect Shrub to do the right thing there. Just like Daddy Bush not standing up to his good friend Dung Xiaopig after Tianenman Square. As far as screw the Frogs, you're 100% right. The surrender monkeys don't do anything except coddle dictators and thumb their nose at the world. And WE'RE arrogant?
Seriously... We ALL know why the French & Russians are against the war. They want the oil first... The same reason W wants the war.... It is a misguided policy and clusterf&*% for ALL involved...
If the war is over oil. Let's just wage war against Venezuela---they are closer and the war will be over faster.
The war is NOT over oil. If all we wanted was mid-east oil, we could have it from Kuwaiit. If all we wanted was Iraqi oil, we could have taken it in 1991. Bestbank - Clinton was in bed with the Chinese just as much or more than the Bush family was. Saudis too. That issue is bi-partisan.
The Bush family has been part of the China lobby since the 40s... and Clinton was in bed with everyone... The fact REMAINS this war has little justification and is pointless for any reasoning this administration has presented .... I supported this President during the Afganistan War, this policy along with his voodoo economics are just plain ignorant... But he'll get his reward in about a year...
