Chevis Jackson is the worst punt returner in recent LSU history, has no idea, he looks as though he has never received the slightest bit of coaching on the matter.

    Here's some help Chevis:
    1. Catch punt
    2. Run

I get nauseated watching him come to an almost complete stop while trying to juke and fake on the approaching defenders. Whatever speed he might have is not a factor with that style. Holliday is the man for this spot, has his catching abilities improved?

I get what your saying, but these guys are athletes. We are so deep at reciever he can afford to sit out the first offensive snap to catch his breath. I don't think it's a matter of him having energy. I think it's a matter of him not getting hurt. But it's football and you have to put your best player in the punt return position to make big plays. How can his production go down when he returned punts virtually his entire career at LSU, except maybe a couple of games his freshman year?

Skyler had 27 punt returns last year, an average of 2 per game. That does not inlcude fair catches.

If 2 punt returns a game wears out an athlete, we should all have serious questions about our strength and conditioning coach.

Skyler's production went down his last 2 years b/c of an ankle injury in '04 and a new coaching staff in '05 that didn't throw the bubble screen.

Who would have more energy for punt returns. Davis who plays nearly every down on offense or someone like Williams who is always fresh?

If Keiland plays it will cost him his redshirt year (unless he gets injuredd), so if Miles decides to use him, he needs to use him for the remainer of the season and for more than just a couple of plays. Keiland needs to see considerable playing time.

my question with jackson returning punts is speed is great....I am sure he has it....but arent the reason some athletes become db's and now wr's are because they dont have the best hands in the world , call me crazy but dont you have to have good hands to return punts? I just dont understand why buster wasnt returning punts from the start.
