The LSU announcers said it best late in the game when they said BYU is just taking their frustration out on LSU tonight, after all, they are the pride and joy of Mormon Utah, they come over 1,600 miles to South Louisiana to show South Louisiana what's up, and promptly go 0-3 vs LSU and SLU, losing the 3 games by a combined score of 13-8 before blowing up in Mormon Rage on LSU 9-3 tonight for their last game before heading back to their home up in the mountains, closer to God (God doesn't allow them to play on Sundays, not sure how that's going to work out for them should they make the CWS)
As others have pointed out, tonight is reminiscent of Sun, Mar 11, 2012 when Notre Dame whipped us 7-1 in their last game in Louisiana...after coming to TX/LA and going 1-4 for a combined score of ND 7, opponents 23, including getting shut out 3 times and before that, on Feb 24-26, 2012, Appalachian St. came to BR for a series, and we beat them 4-0 on Fri before they kicked our tails in the rest of the weekend, going 2-0 against us and beating us down by a combined score of 12-1 (1-0 on Sat, 11-1 on Sun in their last game before heading back to the mountains)
