Did you see uscv's post? ha, anyway, I agree, fUSC is leavin Lincoln with a well placed corncob, not a victory.
The other point to make is that prior to the SECCG, we rarely played the same opponent twice in the same season, so that's why there aren't more instances of this in 100+ seasons.
well her analysis is CLEARLY biased. how did Cal "rely" on turnovers by Colostate when they in fact CAUSED them? anybody can twist words to their advantage. also, her diss of desean jackson wasn't very objective. how is a kickoff return and a 67 yard run supposed to be considered some sort of subpar way to win? uscvballchick is full of it.
Come on now, y'all need a reality check. Even though I don't like SC they will beat Cal with defense alone. Cal is an ok team that beat an average SEC team. That is not something to brag about. Besides I wouldn't put them a head of OK or WV.
Pretty sure there was an SEC consensus (I love that word) that Tenn was going to be down this year. Can't remember all the reasons stated but did read a decent/objective SEC pre-season breakdown someone linked to a while back. I don't really consider Cal's win over Tenn, the huge blowout the national media has been so eager to play up as in an effort to try and downgrade the SEC as a whole. Instead, I saw it as two pretty evenly matched teams (in total sum) where key big plays allowed a breakout. Only the future will tell.:thumb:
Yeah, there is no bias against SC on this board. Stating Cal is better and Nebraska will beat them is clearly an objective viewpoint.
i didn't even say nebraska would beat them, i said nebraska would expose them. i guess i need to clarify what that means. usc gets the win, but they have a rough go at it. they WILL get a pac-10 loss this year bank on it!
