With all the tweaking of classic uniforms of late, you've got to wonder when LSU will update. (I personally hope they don't.) I know we had some variations in the Dinardo era that were used for bowl games or to just avoid wearing the purple jerseys. What would be the most acceptable change? Here's an all white to start things off (though the classic yellow helmet would be the last thing I'd change). I'd like to see a purple jersey, white pant, yellow helmet combo, if anybody can pull it off.

I think the pic you edited with all white and visor helmets would look pretty cool.

I think the most acceptable change for me would be to minimize the shoulder stripes. It seems, no matter how you alter the unis, those stripes always stand out (in a bad way).

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I aree, there's plenty wrong with that. The purple pants would not work and neither would that stripe. I would like to see someone better at this than myself try and redesign that shoulder stripe. I just don't like it. Maybe because it only goes half way around.

You have to keep the stripes, but bring back the full circle stuff like in the kevin faulk days, none of this cut-off stuff...
