EVERYONE gets lucky from time to time. We've had just as many bad calls go agaisnt us. does it even out in the end? Who knows, but I know one thing, when the chips are down and your struggling I'd rather have a rabbits foot down there somewhere as not. Just in case. :yelwink2: besides I think the aubbies have had their share of luck calls in the past.
"What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach... So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it! N' I don't like it any more than you men." I had to laugh...I've had to chastize someone for critisizing the way Flynn played last night. he had a Miami like game and this moron was complaining...so some men you just can't reach.
I guess you're calling me out, then. I come here to discuss football, not pump sunshine. I think a few folks are too negative and tend not to point out the positives, but there are some that seriously want to discuss why this or that happened. I find it annoying when the majority glosses over our flaws after a win. That isn't honest. But if you come here to simply enjoy the wins, why worry with those of us who want to actually discuss what happened? There are plenty of homers here to interact with.
I just wonder if you think LSU ever does anything right. It seems you focus way more on the negative without bringing up much of the positives. If you haven't noticed, the entire season has been tumultuous for a lot of the traditional powers. LSU hasn't played a complete game for a while, but we started seeing glimpses of that again against Auburn. Considering what other teams around the country are dealing with, LSU deserves some credit for pulling out some gutsy wins against stout competition.
The main thing is to win the game. You are right in that. And when we win we should enjoy the victory. But that is not to say we should not analyze the game and point out problem areas that need to be addressed. Coaches do that every week. How else can a team improve?
