LaSalle, this is a great hire, big time. Been making a few calls to get others take on this one.

we probably need someone with cam's experience for clm to trust with play calling...and demand things be done his way!

I'm loving this hiring. Miles will have to trust play calling to him due to his stature, and the guy is proven to develop qb's, something we've been lacking for years.

    I like it!

I don't think it's a bad hire at all. He's had some success with some mediocre teams, as long as he wasn't head coach. Like CLM, he was a Michigan coach under Bo Schembecher. Here's his biography:

This is a great hire especially given Cam's ties to Miles. If this guy can counter NFL defenses on a week-by-week basis then I have no doubts about his ability to coach our offense.

While I agree this is a great move to address the OC issue, i'll wait to reserve judgement until I see the product on the field. But I have high hopes...
  9. paradiseinc don't worry, be happy

This could be the best offensive news since CLM became coach.

The guy is a proven QB developer and OC. Out of 10 years in the NFL his offense was in the top half 9/10 years. Top five 3/10 years. #1 overall once. His reason for firing from Baltimore was partially due to his refusal of allowing other coaches input on the offense. He's developed 3 top QBs in the NFL and even lead Drew Brees to his lowest interception season ever. As an OC he's averaged 10 wins a year. Out of 126 games he's coached in the NFL he's only lost 8 by a total of more than 7 points. Not to mention he knows Miles and has his trust.

I couldn't imagine a better fit and if the offense doesn't produce now then I can only imagine it never will under Miles.
