1. Someone on twitter posted this:

"Cam Cameron's Wikipedia page has this
gem on it now regarding his hiring at LSU. I
    screengrabbed it for posterity."

And the screen shot he linked shows this added:

"On Friday February 8, 2013 it was reported on Tigerdroppings.com that Cameron had accepted the Offensive Coordinator job at LSU. Instantly vaulting LSU into the top 10 in all major Offensive Stats. Geaux Tigers"

  2. From CBS...

    ...
    Cameron replaces Greg
Studrawa, who ran a Tiger team that finished
No. 85 in the nation in total offense in 2012.
LSU, which finished 10-3, did have to
overcome an assortment of injuries on its O-
    line.
Cameron's first project will be trying to help
develop Zach Mettenberger , the team's
strong-armed QB. The program has been
plagued by suspect quarterback play for
years and seemingly has been able to win in
spite of its QBs. Last season, LSU ranked
No. 92 in passing and Mettenberger only
    had a 12-7 TD-INT ratio.
Cameron does have a good reputation for
developing talent. He deserves credit for the
evolution of Ravens QB Joe Flacco, who
    Cameron mentored for five seasons
(2008-12). While in San Diego with the
Chargers (2002-07), Cameron played a key
role in the development of Pro Bowl QBs
Drew Brees and Philip Rivers, RB LaDainian
    Tomlinson and TE Antonio Gates.
As head coach at Indiana from 1997-2001 --
his most recent collegiate stop -- Cameron
helped QB Antwaan Randle El blossom into
one of the most dynamic talents in college
    football.

Love the Cam Cameron hire for
#LSU . Think about what he did at
    Indiana offensively, and think about
    talent upgrade in Baton Rouge.
  5. Josh Dworaczyk @JoshDworaczyk

Sounds like Cam Cameron as LSU
OC is just about official. Wow. Les
miles. How do you do it!!!

    Cameron Roberson
    @LSUbeat
Nick Saban is the best coach in
college football, but if LSU has John
Chavis and Cam Cameron, that might
be best coordinator combo in CFB.

  7. Couple posts from Tennessee fans on Volnation where they suggested they hire Cameron as their Head Coach back on Nov 28, 2013 after they fired Dooley...

Yes I know that (his head coaching record) sucked at
Indiana and with the Miami Dolphins. But I
absolutely love what he has done with the
Ravens. Seems to have that offense moving
downhill with every play. Could be a good
look if he'd be ready to come back to
    NCAA (as a head coach).

Cam is one of the best OCs in the business.
it is what he does best. Let him remain a
    OC.
  8. HELL YES!!!!!!!

...was my response earlier today when I heard the news.
  9. From an article by an aspiring sportswriter based in Los Angeles and a graduate of the Jesuit university in Los Angeles...

...(after going over Cam's success as an OC in the NFL)....
    More importantly than anything,
though, Cameron has a deft touch
    with young quarterbacks. Among the
names he's helped shape in his career
are Jim Harbaugh, Elvis Grbac, Todd
    Collins, Gus Frerotte, Trent Green,
    Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers.
    ...Joe Flacco...that's an
    impressive resume and a half.
In Zach Mettenberger, LSU has a
quarterback who needs that kind of
tutelage—the kind of guy who, if
    properly mentored, could emerge as
one of the nation's best. ...
    With Cameron by his side...
    Mettenberger can show off his
    prototypical NFL skills in a
prototypical NFL offense. It's a match
    made in heaven...
