just think...Miss St may have been in the NCG this year if they just offered more money

The good SEC folks in Birmingham would only have themselves to blame if they dragged their feet on the investigation and/or looked the other way once it looked like the path was clear for Auburn's NC shot.

So can Newton be suspended by the NCAA if all they have on him is he asked for money to play for MSST?

    ok awesome geaux

Absolutely. Just like they can be suspended for just talking to agents (UNC) or fraternizing with NFL players (Bryant). There are rules and they are pretty clear.

Ok so next question, can Auburn beat UGA without him?

I seriously doubt Auburn beating the dawgs w/o Cam. Think about it, LSU's D is solid and unfortunately our D-game plan for holding back Cam backfired. Without this phenom athlete, Auburn has a weak D that Murray, Green and Co. will hang plenty points and the war eagles won't be able to dig themselves out of that hole. Geaux Dawgs!

If this all holds true I could see Cam Newton becoming another Lester Earl. Once he got the LSU basketball program into hot water he couldn't even come home to BR without being threatened.

no point in sitting him now...guilty or not....sitting him this one game wont mean anything in the end result when he has already played in 9.
