This will be my last post in this thread because I don't want to be
The Auburn Defender. I only wanted folks to try and deal on facts, not rumor.

I clicked on the link and the gist of it is:

"What interest the
FBI has in the NCAA infractions case involving Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is unclear...
A few days after allegations of a pay-for-play scheme involving Newton and his father Cecil became public, an FBI spokesman confirmed to USA TODAY that the bureau wanted to interview
John Bond. He's a former Mississippi State quarterback who spoke of being approached about the scheme and making the school aware of it. His attorney, Phil Abernethy, subsequently confirmed Bond was interviewed by a federal agent and a representative of an unnamed state agency. No details of the FBI interest were revealed.
The Mississippi secretary of state's office also wants to talk with former MSU player
Kenny Rogers, according to his attorney, Doug Zeit. That has to do with investigating possible issues with a state law on sports agents. Zeit maintains Rogers is not an agent, though he does work with Chicago-based agent Ian Greengross. Rogers has acknowledged relaying an alleged request of $180,000 from Cecil Newton for his son to sign with Mississippi State."

So it appears that the Feds are after MSU and not targeting Auburn. For the moment.
