Posts like what? A legitimate question about our linebacker lineup next year? It's a good question and I, for one, am interested in the response. If this were a grammar forum, a lot of members would get their memberships revoked.

Posts like YOURS make me think of TigerPoo.

:geaux: Isn't Justin Maclin an LB? Thought that's what he was recruited as, although believe I read somewhere that he might be moving to DE. Anybody know? :LSU231:

And we wonder why so many newbies don't stick around.:dis: Just let the kid post he is adding some life to the party.

To answer your question, Hatcher/Minter/and Baker would be my quess as well.

I believe he was moved to DE pretty early and stayed there.

I'd rather have a dominate D-Line or D-Backfield than LB. Good LB is needed; however, a D is stronger when the Line and Backs are the strongest part of your D.

It just appears to me that Mingo at mlb would be awesome. With his size and speed, I would love to see him there. Watching him against A&M, I jsut imagined him blitzing up the middle with his height.

Of that list, I think Ryan Baker becomes a household name next season. He's primed for a breakout, is the most athletic of the bunch and is a true headhunter. Between him and Minter (and Loston in the secondary), LSU's defense will be rattling a lot of facemasks next season.

Expect another Safety to switch to LB to push Francois, and expect a freshman or true sophomore to push Minter. I like Minter's potential, but he was merely okay this year.

Maclin & Mingo will stick with DE.
