shouldnt take 3 months to find a cohesive unit. they do have an offseason.

Look back at 2009 and that defense was far from star studded (or the ones that were to become stars were inexperienced, much like the situation he is facing this year). But he made it work. Not a stellar defense, but it kept us in ball games.

Tebow scored only 13 on us, as a great example.

Yea but that was the Tebow concussion game, Tebow wasn't really Tebow in that one.

Look I agree the defense has greatly underperformed and there are alot of things you can point out, Welter, and Loston, the 2 deep zone, blown saves if you will, and it should fall on Chavis, but the players gotta step up as well.

You're supposed to be able to adjust in game. We can't even adjust biannually? Wtf. When does it fall on the coach. Get the players out who don't get it. So it's every bluechips fault they are sucking? I beg to differ.

Didn't say that, just said some of has to be on them. Not Chavis' fault they miss so many tackles. And I think Chavis has been trying to find that right group, but I do agree with most of what you are saying.

    Tackling is on coaching...

Its the most fundamental part of the game...

yeah in pop warner. you would think a guy starting for the LSU Tigers would know how to tackle by now. It's lack of focus.

So why do other CFB teams and NFL teams still teach it?

Further not having your team focused is on coaching...

So it's a coaches fault that a guy misses a tackle. Why don't the coaches just fucking play?
