Can Michigan's Lloyd Carr win his last game against Florida?

It just doesn't make sense that Michigan has any chance.

However, stranger things have happened....and they've happened in the past few days!

I'll be doing the Gator Chomp, though not where anyone could see me doing it. I have SOME pride.

 

Time to eat crow for COTiger, cristof11, LSUTyga73, LsuCraig, phlashman, and islstl.

You guys are great contributors and I love having y'all here, but I've been saying I'd be surprised if Michigan didn't make this a ball game. Yet, all of you gave Michigan no chance. Given how loaded Michigan is with talent this year and with the superstars that they have (Henne, Hart, Long, Manningham, etc), I was shocked to see anybody write off Michigan.

For LSU's sake, I'm glad Michigan played toe-to-toe with Florida, just like we did. Assuming that any of our LSU boys were still taking Ohio State lightly, this performance by Michigan today should make sure that our boys do indeed take the Buckeyes seriously and "show up" for the challenge.

I am not sure anybody needs to eat crow, they may have been wrong but if anybody would have asked which team would win when Mich and Appy State played everybody would have said Michigan BIG! But they would have been wrong because that didn't happen! That is why they play the game and why we watch! No need to eat crow!!!

 

Sorry about that COTiger. Just having fun, didn't mean to offend you. Honestly, I'm pretty positive that I've seen posts from you saying that we shouldn't be taking OSU lightly.

I'm more concerned with those on here who have been talking like the Big Ten is garbage, Ohio State sucks, and LSU is going to blow them out. Not only is such an attitude not supported by the facts, but it's a poor mental attitude for LSU to have going into this game.
