I think Sammy was one of the recruites that the NCAA investigated in the CU Scandal and his testifing against CU made him have to leave because of the situation. Don't hold me to this but I was in Denver the last few months and I think that is why he might have a good chance of getting his transfer year waived by the NCAA. I did sit next to a former CU player on a Plane about a month ago and he told me that he knew Sammy and that if he did not get a waiver to play this year he might transfer to school that he could play meaning 1AA.
Part of his petition to the NCAA... is that he was injured almost all of last year and did not play. He is petitioning that this could count as his sit out year. We shall see.
