its such a joke how peterson got second in heisman (ok the whole heisman is a joke, but usually not that bad). there were several times when he missed the "hole", and he couldnt pick up a blitz. granted he put up great numbers against good teams (back to the OL factor argument)
I also noticed Peterson run into Jason White's hand on one play in the Orange Bowl and the commentators mentioned that AD couldn't pick up on defensive schemes and play changes.
Ha.....I mistook it to mean "running back" also. Now Tirk's post makes a little more sense.
he reminds me of a much quicker, dave meggett that will be used everywhere unless the saints get him.
Well, now that I know what we're talking about... As I said, I don't doubt Reggie Bush's play making abilities but simply put - he sucks at being a straight running back. I credit Norm Chow for the plays designed with him in mind that allow him to use his juking(sp?) skills & open field vision. I think he's very similar to Skyler Green in what their general abilities are but Reggie Bush is probably faster and after that I can't tell how much is accredited to Norm Chow and how much is accredited to Reggie Bush. Being unbiased, you'd have to think that Reggie Bush is the better athlete.
Lol, Reggie Bush is a WR at the RB position. I can almost guarentee you that even if he keeps up his current rate of production (not a given. How many times have we seen guys virtually dissapear after great season or two because defenses figure them out) he will NOT be drafted by ANY team with the intention of being a RB. He will be drafted at the WR position. In fact it would not surprise me if PC does not move him to WR next season.
