I guess it was good that half the crowd were Kentucky fans. Kept the place lively at least.

talking about for the future, dude has only been here a season and a half. You don't think if LSU had a John Wall that wouldn't put people in the stands?

I don't know, i just think its kind of sucky that you can't win 1 conference game.

I'm saying LSU had Anthony Randolf and it didn't put very many in the stands. No one wants to watch a lottery pick who can't win, but people will get behind a team with no lottery pick that does win.

No one was at the games in 07-08. Paid attendance was 8500 and actual was 4000 or less. In 08-09 paid attendance was over 10,000 and actual attendance was over 8,500. Winning makes the difference, not players.

If Johnson builds a team that makes tournament runs, and wins SEC championships no one will care that it doesn't produce superstars.

Randolph was coached by Brady though. If you can get a guy who can take you deep in the tourney, why not try and get him. Who cares if he is 1 and done.

Its putting the cart before the horse. Johnson is trying to buil a program of sustained quality. Depth has to be established first to allow for some continuity.

And who is this 1 and done guy he should have gone after and didn't?

no it's not a guy he didn't go after but he has said in interviews that he doesn't want to have anything to do with a guy who is going to come for a year and then go to the pro's.
